"Players of the Week" Week of: Apr. 16th

Boys Track- Lucas Reilly Grade: 11 Years of experience:3rd Events:Discus , shotput , Javelin Reasons for selection:Lucas is an outstanding athlete that is very driven and self motivated. He works very hard in the off season, and is one of the hardest workers on the team during practice. He can always be seen coaching other throwers on their technique, and is just as excited about their improvements as he is his own. Lucas is one of our 3 captains, and is a great leader. This past week, Lucas took 7th place in the discus at the Lock Haven Invitational out of a field of 32 throwers with a district qualifying throw of 122' 5". Great job Lucas Girls Track- Esther Parsons Grade: 11 Years of experience:3rd Events-sprinter, jumper, pole vaulter Reasons for selection:Esther has consistently scored points for the team in the high jump and pole vaulting events. She is a great role model for the younger atheltes as she is always pushing herself to achieve higher heights and lower times in her events. Baseball- Richie Villanti Grade:11 Years of experience:3rd Position: Shortstop Reasons for selection:Richie continues to have a hot bat. He is among the top in all batting stats. He tries to improve the team as one of the captians in talking to the younger baseball players, helping smooth out issues between players and working to improve his own techiques. Softball- Amanda Kyc Grade: 12 Years of experience: 4 Position(s): 3rd Base Reasons for selection: Amanda brings a lot to our team with her athleticism, determination and power. Her control at the corner is well known around the league and she has done very well so far this year.
